TKAM

There are a couple of the things I thought about To Kill A Mockingbird. These are based on my opinion so I might be a little bias in this. Her are three things that I thought about To Kill A Mockingbird.

The first thing I thought about TKAM is that it was kind of sad that Scout never met Boo after that one day she was at his front door. They have been talking about Boo throughout the entire story but they never met him once before. Whenever Scout has her first "encounter" with Boo whenever he covers her with a blanket she is absolutely petrified when she finds out. Now that Scout had met Boo, she became a friend with him. She even held hands with him, which makes the ending sadder.

One other thing is that I thought Tom did not deserve to die. Out of my opinion I think that the prison guards knew it was him. If I was one of the prison guards I would let him go even if I were to suffer the consequences. I would do this because I think the jury's verdict was not fair. I would do it out of sympathy.

The last thing is that I think I am like Jem. One way I act like Jem is that when they went to the play Jem left his sister to be with his friends or kids around his age. I would do the exact same thing. In fact, I have done it to my sister before. In Texas there was an assembly, it was in school and it was during the day. In other words, during school. So we were forced to watch it but luckily we got to sit with our friends, and I decided to go with my friends instead of my sister, but she sat with her friends so it was mutual. Another way we are alike is that we can be jerks to our siblings. Sometimes Jem acts that way towards Scout. I can act that way to both of my siblings.

In conclusion, those are my thoughts of To Kill A Mockingbird. I am similar to Jem in some ways, I think the ending of Boo was sad, and I think it was bogus of the jury to say that Tom was guilty.
